An Open Pitlane Car Trackday is your ultimate chance to experience the thrill of driving on Scotland’s only internationally accredited racing circuit. With no fixed sessions, you’re free to take to the track whenever you're ready, making the most of your time behind the wheel and enjoying uninterrupted laps at your own pace.
Seasoned trackday drivers can push their limits, while newcomers can explore their car’s true potential. Knockhill’s unique mix of fast corners, technical sections, and dramatic elevation changes will challenge your skills and leave you wanting more. With fewer cars on track at any one time, there’s plenty of space to build confidence, improve technique, and truly connect with your car.
It’s all about control, speed, and pure driving excitement.
Your safety on track is our top priority, and having the right gear is essential for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Filming
For those wanting to record their experience, any filming equipment must be secured inside the vehicle and may be inspected prior to track session. Hand held or helmet cameras are NOT permitted.
To take part in a trackday, all drivers must hold one of the following valid licences and comply with the relevant regulations:
β DVLA Road Licence – You must have a full, unrestricted licence (not provisional). Your licence must be valid and issued by the DVLA or the equivalent licensing authority if you’re from outside the UK. The appropriate category must be clearly indicated on the licence.
β MSA National B (or higher) race licence valid in the current year. Drivers must be 17yrs+.
π« No Licence = No Track Driving– You must bring your licence on the day so our team can check it before you head out on track.
Vehicle Requirements
β Road Cars – Your vehicle must meet MOT minimum standards for road use or comply with MSA’s current safety regulations for track cars. It should be in good mechanical and body condition, ensuring it’s fit for track use. Additionally, cars must be equipped with a towing eye for safety purposes.
β Seatbelts – All cars, regardless of age, must have working seatbelts.
β Ongoing Maintenance – It’s your responsibility to ensure your car remains in a safe and roadworthy condition throughout the event, in the interest of your safety and that of others on track.
π« Open-Wheel & Single-Seaters – These vehicles are not permitted on car trackdays.

Knockhill is the only circuit in the UK licenced to run in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, offering riders two distinct track experiences, each with its own unique challenges and thrills.
The classic Knockhill experience! Exit the pitlane to your left and charge down to Duffus Dip, one of the most notorious corners in UK motorsport.
Same venue, new track! Enter the pitlane and turn right, where the final corner becomes the first, kicking off your session with a dive into the famous hairpin.
Why settle for one track when you can drive two? Start your day driving anti-clockwise, break for a relaxing lunch, then hit the track again in the familiar clockwise formation for a completely different experience, all in the same day!
