Looking for a bike trackday in a structured, well-organised format? This is a firm favorite among riders of all abilities, offering plenty of time on track while ensuring you're on track with others at a similar level.
We run three groups—Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced—each limited to 30 riders to keep sessions safe, smooth, and enjoyable. On a typical trackday, you'll get 15-minute track sessions every hour, giving you time to ride, rest, and reflect between stints.
How Sessions Run:
✔️ Track live from 9am to 5pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)
✔️ Three rider groups—Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced
✔️ Fixed session times for a structured and predictable format
Choose the Right Group for You:
✅ Novice – Perfect for first-time track riders, newcomers, or those with limited track experience. We recommend completing at least three novice track days before moving up.
✅ Intermediate – Ideal for more experienced road or track riders with at least four track days under their belt. You should be comfortable with a faster, flowing pace.
✅ Advanced – Designed for seasoned track riders and race licence holders (SACU/ACU). Expect higher speeds and a more competitive pace.
Picking the Group That’s Right for You
Choosing the right ability group is key to making the most of your track day. We encourage all riders to be honest and objective when selecting their group—think about your experience, skill level, and confidence on track. This helps keep the day fun, safe, and enjoyable for everyone!
Your safety on track is our top priority, and having the right gear is essential for a safe and enjoyable experience.
All equipment must be in good condition and fit for purpose. Our team will carry out safety checks and reserves the right to deny track access if any equipment does not meet the required standards.
For those wanting to record their experience, all filming equipment must be securely mounted to the motorcycle using a purpose-designed bracket. Cameras or brackets are NOT permitted on the helmet, rider’s body, leathers, or motorcycle tank.
By following these requirements, you’ll be fully prepared for a safe, fun, and memorable visit to Knockhill.
To take part in a trackday, all riders must hold one of the following valid licences and comply with the relevant regulations:
✅ DVLA Road Licence – You must have a full, unrestricted Category A motorcycle licence (A2 licences are not accepted). Your licence must be valid and issued by the DVLA or the equivalent licensing authority if you’re from outside the UK.
✅ SACU or ACU Race Licence – Race licence holders aged 17+ may participate on a motorcycle they are permitted to race under SACU/ACU regulations (up to 400cc). Riders under 17 are not eligible for trackdays.
🚫 No Licence = No Track Riding– You must bring your licence on the day so our team can check it before you head out on track.
Any motorcycle over 400cc can be used on a trackday, but it must meet the following standards:
Road Bikes – Must conform to MOT minimum standards for road use.
Track & Race Bikes – Should comply with the safety regulations set by the governing body.
General Condition – All bikes must be well-maintained, safe, and suitable for track use. It’s your responsibility to ensure your motorcycle remains in this condition for the entire event.
Rear Brake Light – If your bike has one, it must be in full working order.
Check your bike before arriving to make sure it’s ready for the start of your tracktime.

Knockhill is the only circuit in the UK licenced to run in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, offering riders two distinct track experiences, each with its own unique challenges and thrills.
The classic Knockhill experience! Exit the pitlane to your left and charge down to Duffus Dip, one of the most notorious corners in UK motorsport.
Same venue, new track! Enter the pitlane and turn right, where the final corner becomes the first, kicking off your session with a dive into the famous hairpin.
Why settle for one track when you can ride two? Start your day riding anti-clockwise, break for a relaxing lunch, then hit the track again in the familiar clockwise formation for a completely different experience, all in the same day!
