Knockhill Racing Circuit and the KMSC are delighted to announce a continuing partnership with Carbon Positive Motorsport with the joint aim to 200% offset all the KMSC car racing championships by 2026, starting with the Scottish Legends championship in 2024.
The phased initiative with Scottish Legends in 2024 will be followed by the ModSports in 2025 and Super Lap Scotland in 2026. Knockhill will underwrite the entire Legends racing grid every race weekend with a contribution to Carbon Positive Motorsport, to which the drivers themselves can make a voluntary contribution of either £5 or £10 to offset their racing and travel mileage. Knockhill will ensure that the whole grid’s racing mileage is offset, and this will be expanded to the other championships in subsequent seasons.
Stuart Gray, Knockhill Director of Events and Chairman of the Knockhill Motor Sports Club said, “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Carbon Positive Motorsport, something that started in 2022. With the goal of all our car racing being offset by 2026, it is just one part of a major sustainability programme for the Circuit as a whole.”
