Scottish Duo Set for BTCC 2025 Charge

Two talented Scottish drivers are gearing up for another exciting season in the British Touring Car Championship. Dexter Patterson, 21, will make a highly anticipated return to the grid after a year away, joining Un-Limited Motorsport. Patterson, who previously competed in the BTCC in 2022, will be aiming to build on his experience and challenge for strong results. 

Joining Patterson on the grid will be seasoned BTCC veteran Aiden Moffat, who is set to embark on his 12th full season in the championship. Moffat, a fan favorite, has signed with the renowned West Surrey Racing team to pilot a powerful BMW 3 Series. Supported by LKQ Euro Car Parts since 2022, Moffat boasts a wealth of experience and a proven track record, including numerous podium finishes and race victories throughout his career.

Both drivers will be eager to impress the home crowd at the Knockhill Scottish round on the 16th-17th of August, where they will be aiming for strong results in front of their passionate fans. With their combined experience and ambition, Patterson and Moffat are poised to make a significant impact and entertain fans throughout the 2025 BTCC season.

The Saturday afternoon/evening event will see around 25 F1s take on the unique tri-oval circuit at the hairpin, shaking the ground as they battle wheel-to-wheel. This full-contact style of racing is adored by fans and drivers alike and hasn't been seen at Knockhill for around 15 years. With almost 5 hours of non-stop action scheduled from the 2pm start, featuring a supporting program of local racers, it promises to be a true celebration of British Stock Car racing.
