It's fast, agile, and perfect for the twists and turns of Knockhill's iconic racing circuit. Legends race cars feature body shells that are 5/8-scale replicas of classic American automobiles from the 1930s, powered by a 1250cc Yamaha motorcycle engine. Rear wheel drive, boasting quick steering and a lightweight body, offering an excellent power-to-weight ratio that delivers an exciting and unforgettable track driving experience. Knockhill Racing Circuit is a thrilling 1.27-mile track, renowned for its adrenaline-pumping twists, turns, and dramatic 200-foot elevation changes. As Scotland's only FIA-graded circuit, it accommodates both car and bike racing in both directions, offering a truly unique motorsport experience. The challenging layout features tight corners, steep climbs, and technical descents, delivering an exhilarating ride for drivers and riders alike.
Knockhill has a rich history in British motorsport, hosting prestigious events like the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and British Superbikes (BSB). Its reputation for being both challenging and rewarding makes it a favorite among racers.

I was initially booked to do this in November 2020 but had to cancel at the last minute due to COVID restrictions so the voucher expired. A full 6 months after the voucher had expired I logged in to try and use it and was delighted to find it had been extended free of charge. On the day I arrived and was given a wrist band and directed to a parking area. The instructor came to collect the drivers from their cars and at no time did we have to get together indoors as a group which was great given current issues with COVID. The instructor in the Honda Civic type r takes you round the track twice showing you the racing lines and you then swap and drive 4 laps with him giving more tips and advice. After that it’s on to the legends cars, the first session is driven with a bolt in the accelerator pedal to restrict the revs and if you keep it on track you can have this taken out for the remaining sessions. The car was fantastic especially unrestricted and the whole visit was great fun. I don’t remember the staff members name who helped us at the legends cars but he was brilliant, very friendly and put your mind at ease while still getting over the required safety advice. We as a family love Knockhill, highly recommended for any motorsport enthusiasts. The driving experiences are one of the best if not the best in the UK. They give a lot of good advice and feedback throughout your experience and help to make it very enjoyable. I can't wait to return to do another Legends unlimited experience. The new Civic Type R course car is good fun to drive and try-out as well. Be back soon for the BTCC which is also another great day out.

The instructors were fantastic, very friendly and chatty and gave some excellent feedback to help me improve my skills and experience on the day. The track was just simply breathtaking and is something very special and I don’t think there’s anywhere like it. The track itself looked in great condition and well maintained. The structure of the day was excellent and expanded the experience out a little longer.

Great facilities, great friendly staff Attended the BTCC for the weekend. Camped, and the facilities provided were good. Stayed with kids and they loved it and already asking to go again next year! Office staff are fantastic and friendly! I messed up with tickets and they sorted it all without any fuss. I’ve also been for driving experiences and they’re great and make you feel so welcome and make sure you have a great time regardless of your ability.

Crazy fun in the Legends in the wet. If you get the chance go try them , highly recommend them. Staff at the circuit are great and helpful. Facilities are very good at the circuit too.
