SMRC (Scottish Motor Racing Club) race days bring the local car racing scene to life with classes based around a long standing format which the club has run for many a year.  Enjoy The Classics, Fiesta STs, C1s and Mini Coopers.

After round 1 the drivers will have been working on their set ups to try and gain more speed to set up a championship assault.

With qualifying sessions before a fast paced card of races, these days are a great family spectator event. Pick your favourite spot around Knockhills famous circuit and listen to the live race day radio on 87.7FM as the professional commentary team keep you up to speed with all the breaking race action as it happens.

Visit the paddock and meet the stars and their cars that you watch on track and enjoy the action and atmosphere.

Scottish Mini Cooper Cup / Mini Cooper S Cup- traditionally one of the most spectacular classes on the SMRC schedule, This once again will be great to watch with three races too keep track of for commentators and fans alike.

The Scottish C1 Cup - City car racing up and down the country is on the upsurge and the SMRC was one of the first clubs to introduce an introductory and cost-effective class for racers looking for a financially viable route into motorsport - the C1 Cup offer this and the racing is great fun to watch too.

• Scottish Fiesta ST Cup - The Fiesta ST Cup is one of the Club's longest running championships and will have a strong grid this year and will provide close racing too.

The Scottish Classic Sports and Saloons Championship - Is a stalwart of the Scottish Motor Racing Club with drivers and fans drawn towards the nostagia of cars from the past. Classic racing is big business nowadays and the Classic Sports and Saloon competitors always put on a great show - whilst some of the machinery on show will take you back to the good old days... the racing is very much full-on and extremely competitive.

Super Tourers - Remember the golden era of the BTCC when every saloon manufacturer had a works team and factory backed drivers? Well the cars survived and they are driven by some fantasticly skilled drivers, reliving late 90's and early 00's. The drivers will compete for the David Leslie Trophy during their first race after a free grid walk for the fans.

Modified Fords - A great selection of 20 plus Ford saloons that date pre 2010 will be showing their skills with flame spitting turbos. From Escorts, Sierra Cosworths to Ford Focus's, its going to be sensational for all Ford fans.
