We can't wait to get our Super Lap Scotland Championship started, together with our awesome racing championships at the first event of 2022.

The unique SLS Super-Sprint time trial series is a race against the clock as driver search for that perfect lap. SLS will share the billing around the twists and dips of Knockhill with the Mod Sports and Scottish Legends at every round and some visiting content at rounds later in the season.

The ModSports Championship is the fastest racing championship in Scotland with a wide variety of competition sports and saloon cars - from deminutive Mini Coopers and Fiesta ST's to highly modified Subaru's, Mitsubishi's and BMWs, some with around 700hp!

Back for their second year, the Scottish Legends Championship with do battle on track again with up to 20 of these motorcycle engined pocket rocket racers racing bumper to bumper, and sometimes closer. With their unique racing format over 3 heats and ball-draw grids, there is action and overtaking aplenty!

Our afternoon season opener will consist of a number of different disciplines, from outright racing to our very own Super Lap Scotland (SLS) series - an intense time-trial type activity that see’s competitors vie for the quickest lap-time around Knockhill, culminating in a solitary lap at the end of the day to find out just who is fastest in each class.

You’ll see some highly tuned and spectacularly fast cars out on track pushing lap times to the limit. Similarly, you’ll see everyday cars you’d see on the road being driven flat-out by their enthusiastic owners in pursuit of those all-important class wins that go towards the overall awards at the end of the season and that coveted ‘King of the Hill’ trophy for the most consistent performer of the season.

Action will start with race qualifying from 12.30pm, SLS warm up and qualification sessions before moving onto the races themselves and SLS class finals to round out the day.

• SLS Championship - featuring some of the fastest modified cars in Scotland all competing on track for that ‘Perfect Lap’.

• Scottish Legends Championship – This American styled bike engine ‘pocket rockets’ are a fan favourite and will support all Super Lap Scotland events.

• ModSports Championship - This race series will see a vast array of super-charged sports and saloon cars racing head-to-head for those vital 1-2-3 podium positions. Defending champion Sean Martin will be pushing hard to try and take back to back titles.
