Accessibility and Wheelchair Access

Knockhill is an outdoor venue where some of the bankings and viewpoint areas around the track may not be suitable for those customers who are wheelchair dependent or have specific mobility needs.  There are different options around the site for disabled viewing and these will vary event by event.  There are raised viewing platforms at the hairpin corner and the main straight.  There is an accessible viewing area at McIntyres corner and at Clarks corner parking is available trackside with good views from your car.

There are no pets allowed at Knockhill, with the exception of guide dogs.

Essential Companion Tickets

Essential Companion Tickets

Knockhill are proud to partner with Nimbus Disability, operators of the Access Card scheme, who will now process all Essential Companion tickets.

An Essential Companion ticket allows an additional person to enter the venue with a paying guest to assist with their visit free of charge. If eligible, two additional people can accompany the paying guest with the appropriate Access Card +2 symbol.

Nimbus Disability will individually review your supporting documentation and confirm your requirements to us via either an Access Card or Nimbus ID number.

All applications need to be submitted via the Nimbus Disability website https://app.accesscard.online/apply/knockhill/

An Essential Companion ticket is available for people where support is needed that is significant and substantial and in excess of what could be reasonably expected of family/friends already accompanying the guest. The support must be due to disability related needs. Essential Companions must be over 12 years of age.

Our Essential Companion Scheme is not available to complimentary ticket holders or when zero value entry is applicable for the Access Card holder.

How to apply:

Please click on the link website https://app.accesscard.online/apply/knockhill/  to register for an Essential Companion ticket.

Our partners at Nimbus Disability will then review your application. Once you have received your card details, if the +1 or +2 symbol is assigned, you can then contact us directly with your registration/card number to purchase an Essential Companion ticket. You will have the choice to register your needs exclusively to Knockhill at no cost, or to upgrade to an Access Card for £15 for 3 years and have your card recognised at over 2,000 venues throughout the UK and beyond.

If you already have an access card with the +1 or +2 symbol:

Please contact us on 01383 723 337 or enquiries@knockhill.co.uk. We will be pleased to assist you with the purchase of an Essential Companion ticket. You will need to quote your Access Card details at the time of booking.
