Licences: All drivers must produce a current Motorsport UK/FIA Competition Race Licence.  A parent or legal guardian must counter-sign the registration form of participants under the age of 18 years. No access to track will be granted without a licence. 

Registration: Drivers must complete an online registration document prior to arrival at the venue. 

Equipment: All drivers must wear helmets and safety clothing, which comply with the relevant governing body’s technical/safety regulations.

Vehicles: Vehicles must comply with governing body technical/safety regulations and should be presented in the same condition as for racing.  Road cars are not permitted on the circuit.

Entry: Will be available at least 1 hour before your confirmed start time.  You will be asked to produce your licence for checking at the gate. Each driver will be issued with a wrist band which must always be worn during testing.  Please stop at the end of the pit lane and show the wrist band to the marshal.  Late arrivals will be administered at the first possible opportunity; however, you may miss your first session or some open tracktime.

Format: Test days will be run in sessions lasting 30 minutes, a timetable will be issued to include session times.

Track Stoppages: Every effort will be made by us to provide you with the full allocation of tracktime. However, some track stoppages are inevitable, and we ask you to be patient and allow our operations team the time and space to deal with any unplanned incidents on track. We will allow the session to recommence at the first possible opportunity.

Cancellations and Non-Attendance: If for any reason you are unable to attend your chosen date, we will accept one change to an alternative date provided you give us 3 full days’ notice by telephone. Cancellations made after this period will incur a 50% additional re-booking charge. Non-attendance will forfeit your booking. No refunds will be made.

If for any reason Knockhill Racing Circuit Ltd is forced to abandon the Trackday (for example, due to adverse weather conditions), the following credits will be offered.

Failure to start:    75% credit
Running 25% or less: 50% credit
Running 26%-49%: 25% credit
Running for 50%: NO credit

Credits can be used towards a future booking at Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Noise Limit: Knockhill Racing Circuit has a noise limit of 105db. Refreshments Kinnairds restaurant will be open and offering a takeaway service and a limited sit in service. Our catering team are required to collect contact details from all diners using the sit in service. Fuel Please be aware that we are unable to sell you fuel for your car; please ensure that you purchase fuel on route to the circuit.

Filming: Under no circumstances must Helmet Cams be used.  Only bolt on mounting systems designed specifically for the purpose will be allowed.  All drones are forbidden at Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Paddock Conduct: Please be aware of other teams, participants, contractors, pedestrians in the paddock and pit lane. Drivers are responsible for their own safety and that of other users of these areas who they may affect.

Pit Lane: Re-fuelling and the storage of petrol (or other fuels) is not permitted in the pit lane; The pit lane is strictly one way. Vehicle access to the pit lane is via the holding area.  Service vehicles are not allowed in the pit lane.  Unless participating, no persons under the age of 16 are allowed in the pit lane or on the pit wall.
